Dieter Wisliceny

Dieter Wisliceny, an SS officer in Eichmann's Jewish-affairs unit and a witness at Nuremberg.

About

Dieter Wisliceny worked in Eichmann's Jewish-affairs unit and held posts in Slovakia, Greece, and Hungary. He took part in deportation policy and in talks with Jewish rescue groups.

After the war Wisliceny testified about Eichmann at Nuremberg. A Czechoslovak court sentenced him to death, and he was hanged in Bratislava in 1948.

In this interview

Wi is the interview's normal short form for Wisliceny. Eichmann spends many pages attacking his testimony and recalling their shared duties.

Read with care

Match capital Wi only as a whole token. Never fold it to lowercase, and don't confuse it with the beginning of an English or German word.
