About
Odilo Globocnik was SS and Police Leader in the Lublin district and directed Operation Reinhard from 1941 to 1943. Under that program the SS and police murdered about 1.7 million Jews.
He later became Higher SS and Police Leader in the Adriatic coastal area around Trieste. His staff brought killing and deportation drive from occupied Poland into Italy.
